Hi there,
I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to Scrubs & Shift Notes, a space created by a dialysis clinic manager (that’s me!) who’s lived every shift, every code, and every side conversation in the breakroom.
Whether you’re a new grad nurse, a veteran RN, or someone just trying to survive a 12-hour shift without losing your pen, this blog is for you.
Why did I Start This Blog?
Managing a multimillion-dollar dialysis clinic is no joke. The patient load, regulations, staffing chaos—it’s all real. I wasn’t always in this role and I wanted to create a place as diverse as the Nursing Profession. A blog where we can:
Share real stories from the trenches
Offer time-saving tools and hacks for nurses and managers
Recommend gear that actually helps (instead of collecting lint in your locker)
Build community among nurses who are overworked but still passionate
